On behalf of the Board of Directors and members of CBM, I welcome you to the official website of the Philadelphia Chapter of Concerned Black Men, Inc. We are pleased to offer a direct link to our available programs, activities, and services. Over the past three decades, as a community-base organization of volunteers, CBM continues to be recognized as a pillar of strength throughout the Philadelphia community. As the founding chapter of the National Organization of Concerned Black Men, we are proud to lend support to the many chapters across the continental United States. It is our universal bind of brotherly love that drives our commitment to serving our youth.
As the Chairman of the Board of Directors, I am honored to accept the mantle of guiding this organization to higher heights, searching and finding innovative and creative ways to sustain and maintain our organization. As we have demonstrated throughout our 34 years of existence, we are here for the long haul. With our commitment and integrity in tack, we are ready to ?care for our youth? into the21st century.
Will you help us? As a 501(c)(3)-non-profit organization, your charitable contributions are our sustaining grace. You can make an individual contribution directly to CBM, or through one of our other methods of support. We need you. Dr. Martin Luther King said, "The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."
Please join us, as we continue in "Caring for Our Youth."
Thank you.
Harvey Crudup Chairman, Board of Directors Co-Founder Concerned Black Men, Inc. of Philadelphia
